Cats...I Love Them!

Just over a year ago I lost my fur baby, his name was pusstat and he was 19yrs old. I loved him so much, and miss him.

I've always been an animal lover, i'd have a zoo if I could. One of my dreams would be, to be able to touch a lion, tiger or leopard anything related to a cat. I just want to touch those paws! I will literally be the old lady with lots of cats, maybe a couple of dogs and some hamsters....let's see what happens!.

I love this cat collection by Magpie because for me it brings back memories of Charley the cat from the adverts in the 70's & 80's "Charley Says". I also love The Prodigy, where Charley the cat was revived for the track "Charly" back in the 90's. Off out i used to go to raves with my tamborine in hand. So for me this was a must have! It also reminded me of some kitchenware my nan used to have, different pattern, i just remember the orange coloured jars.

This collection consists of teatowels, cups, salt & pepper pots, jars, pouches & bags, of which ive had to keep one of everything of course! So for all you cat lovers or have fond memories of "Charley the Cat" this is a must for you.

Also a bit of usless information... did you know Kenny Everett was the voice of "Charley the Cat". I loved Kenny Everett as a kid, my mum would let me stay up to watch "The Kenny Everett Show" on TV....It was all done in the best possible taste!
